Michael Hart specializes in producing high quality, hand forged ironwork of bespoke design in both traditional and contemporary mediums. All the items to leave the forge are heated with a coal or gas forge and forged by hand or under an industrial power hammer.
The ability to create decorative items as opposed to buying them in means there is no limitation regarding the design of the Ironwork, consequently every item is uniquely designed to each client. Additionally a heavy focus on traditional techniques such as riveting, mortis and tendon joints and fire welding create an aesthetic which is simply not offered by the majority of metal workers. This results in a piece which is both original and of the highest quality.
In the design of a piece, inspiration is sourced from the site surroundings and incorporated into the design to seamlessly integrate the piece into the surrounding aesthetic. This coupled with the input of the client, results in a product which is both unique and tailored to the client.
